# ReaLinks vs Security Home

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ReaLinks at none against Security Home's 7. Security Home's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. ReaLinks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Security Home holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ReaLinks ships an update every 2 months, Security Home every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
