# AI Note Taker vs Class Notes

The clearest difference is ads: Class Notes at none against AI Note Taker's shown. Class Notes also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AI Note Taker's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Class Notes sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
