# AI Note Taker vs AI Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: AI Note Taker at free with in-app purchases against AI Notes's subscription. AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). AI Notes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and AI Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Note Taker ships an update every 6 weeks, AI Notes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
