# Notepad vs Loom

The clearest difference is ads: Loom at none against Notepad's shown. Notepad's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Loom sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
