# CalBot vs JustSubly

The clearest difference is ads: JustSubly at none against CalBot's shown. JustSubly also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). CalBot's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 11). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalBot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and JustSubly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for CalBot against 4.6 for JustSubly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CalBot has 4K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of CalBot's written reviews are positive against 100% of JustSubly's.

CalBot ships an update every 2 weeks, JustSubly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
