# MyQStudio vs Lucid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lucid at every 3 days against MyQStudio's every 4 weeks. Lucid also leads on ratings volume (61 vs 6). MyQStudio's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyQStudio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Lucid sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyQStudio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lucid has 61 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyQStudio ships an update every 4 weeks, Lucid every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
