# Ear Drone vs SongScribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: SongScribe at every 3 weeks against Ear Drone's every 2 months. Ear Drone's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ear Drone sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SongScribe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
