# Vscale vs FFMI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vscale at fortnightly against FFMI's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vscale sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and FFMI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
