# Vscale vs Primalyst

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Primalyst at 100% against Vscale's 15%. Primalyst also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Vscale's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 23). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vscale sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Primalyst sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Primalyst holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vscale has 1K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of Vscale's written reviews are positive against 100% of Primalyst's.

Vscale ships an update fortnightly, Primalyst every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
