# CoupleFun vs Unsolved Case

The clearest difference is ads: CoupleFun at none against Unsolved Case's shown. Unsolved Case's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 17 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoupleFun sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Unsolved Case sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CoupleFun ships an update every 17 months, Unsolved Case every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
