# HoneyNote vs Wordy

The clearest difference is ads: HoneyNote at none against Wordy's shown. HoneyNote also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). Wordy's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 65%) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 123). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HoneyNote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Wordy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for HoneyNote against 4.7 for Wordy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wordy has 2.5K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of HoneyNote's written reviews are positive against 86% of Wordy's.

HoneyNote ships an update every 3 days, Wordy every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
