# Hike Maker vs By Then

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hike Maker at every 10 days against By Then's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hike Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and By Then sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hike Maker ships an update every 10 days, By Then every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
