# ExcalidrawZ vs CiteSight

The clearest difference is rating: CiteSight at 5.0 against ExcalidrawZ's 4.2. CiteSight also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). ExcalidrawZ's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExcalidrawZ sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CiteSight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CiteSight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ExcalidrawZ has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
