# ExcalidrawZ vs Unbound

The clearest difference is update cadence: Unbound at every 3 days against ExcalidrawZ's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExcalidrawZ sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Unbound sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ExcalidrawZ ships an update weekly, Unbound every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
