# Actimate vs Harmony

The clearest difference is monetization model: Actimate at freemium against Harmony's subscription. Harmony's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (96% vs 77%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Actimate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Harmony sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Actimate against 4.8 for Harmony. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harmony has 49 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Actimate's written reviews are positive against 96% of Harmony's.

Actimate ships an update weekly, Harmony every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
