# Actimate vs Kotomit

The clearest difference is ads: Kotomit at none against Actimate's shown. Actimate's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Actimate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Kotomit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Actimate ships an update weekly, Kotomit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
