# WaveChat vs OutTo

The clearest difference is update cadence: OutTo at every 6 days against WaveChat's fortnightly. OutTo also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WaveChat ships an update fortnightly, OutTo every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
