# Mosaic vs ImageReady

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mosaic at every 3 weeks against ImageReady's every 2 months. ImageReady's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mosaic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ImageReady sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mosaic ships an update every 3 weeks, ImageReady every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
