# 22SIM vs E

The clearest difference is ads: E at none against 22SIM's shown. E also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). 22SIM's advantage is ratings volume (564 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 22SIM has 564 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

22SIM ships an update every 5 days, E every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
