# Arcarae vs U

The clearest difference is ads: Arcarae at none against U's shown. Arcarae also leads on ratings volume (217 vs 16) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arcarae sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and U sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Arcarae against 4.8 for U. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arcarae has 217 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Arcarae ships an update every 5 days, U every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
