# Sea Ducks vs Cruisebound

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sea Ducks at 83% against Cruisebound's 29%. Cruisebound's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sea Ducks sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Cruisebound asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cruisebound holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 448 and 549 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Sea Ducks's written reviews are positive against 29% of Cruisebound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sea Ducks ships an update fortnightly, Cruisebound monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
