# Daily Planner vs ByWhen

The clearest difference is update cadence: ByWhen at every 5 days against Daily Planner's every 3 weeks. Daily Planner's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ByWhen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
