# ReadBuff vs Outerline

The clearest difference is price: ReadBuff at Free against Outerline's $9.99. ReadBuff also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Outerline's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ReadBuff is free to download; Outerline costs $9.99 up front. ReadBuff sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Outerline sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReadBuff ships an update every 2 months, Outerline every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
