# ReadBuff vs WishNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: WishNote at every 2 weeks against ReadBuff's every 6 weeks. ReadBuff's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadBuff sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and WishNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReadBuff ships an update every 6 weeks, WishNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
