# Relatio vs Nosedive

The clearest difference is rating: Relatio at 4.5 against Nosedive's 3.8. Relatio also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 30). Nosedive's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (64% vs 53%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Relatio sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Nosedive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Relatio holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Relatio has 12K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Relatio's written reviews are positive against 64% of Nosedive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Relatio ships an update fortnightly, Nosedive monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
