# Relatio vs BourbonVault

The clearest difference is monetization model: BourbonVault at free with in-app purchases against Relatio's subscription. Relatio's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (12K vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Relatio sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and BourbonVault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Relatio holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Relatio has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Relatio's written reviews are positive against 50% of BourbonVault's.

Relatio ships an update fortnightly, BourbonVault every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
