# CaseJournal vs Tagtory

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tagtory at every 2 days against CaseJournal's every 4 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CaseJournal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tagtory sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CaseJournal ships an update every 4 days, Tagtory every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
