# Massive vs Badgered

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Badgered at none against Massive's 10. Badgered also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Massive's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Massive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Badgered asks for nothing beyond the download.

Badgered holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Massive has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Massive ships an update fortnightly, Badgered every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
