# NEC Master Exam Prep vs NEC Mastery

The clearest difference is rating: NEC Mastery at 4.8 against NEC Master Exam Prep's 3.7. NEC Mastery also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (172 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NEC Master Exam Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NEC Mastery sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
