# Yidio vs MOBFI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MOBFI at 100% against Yidio's 27%. MOBFI also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ads (none vs shown). Yidio's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 15). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yidio sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MOBFI sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MOBFI holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yidio has 3.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of Yidio's written reviews are positive against 100% of MOBFI's.

Yidio ships an update every 6 weeks, MOBFI monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
