# Canon PRINT vs Command App

The clearest difference is update cadence: Command App at every 10 days against Canon PRINT's every 3 months. Command App also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Canon PRINT's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (616K vs 67K). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Canon PRINT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canon PRINT has 616K ratings behind it against 67K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Canon PRINT's written reviews are positive against 47% of Command App's.

Canon PRINT ships an update every 3 months, Command App every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
