# Scrap Science vs Copper Price Today

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scrap Science at 100% against Copper Price Today's 50%. Scrap Science also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Copper Price Today's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrap Science sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Copper Price Today asks for nothing beyond the download.

Copper Price Today holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Copper Price Today has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Scrap Science's written reviews are positive against 50% of Copper Price Today's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrap Science ships an update every 2 weeks, Copper Price Today every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
