# PrepNote vs DogLife

The clearest difference is ads: DogLife at none against PrepNote's shown. DogLife also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DogLife sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepNote ships an update every 7 months, DogLife every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
