# FlipTV vs ReelYa

The clearest difference is update cadence: ReelYa at every 2 days against FlipTV's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipTV sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and ReelYa sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipTV ships an update every 5 weeks, ReelYa every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
