# FocusFlight vs GradeGrind

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FocusFlight at 9.7K against GradeGrind's 2. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusFlight sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and GradeGrind sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GradeGrind holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusFlight has 9.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
