# FocusFlight vs Predy

The clearest difference is monetization model: Predy at free with in-app purchases against FocusFlight's subscription. Predy also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). FocusFlight's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9.4K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusFlight sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Predy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.39 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FocusFlight against 5.0 for Predy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusFlight has 9.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of FocusFlight's written reviews are positive against 100% of Predy's.

FocusFlight ships an update every 5 days, Predy every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
