# FocusFlight vs StudentHub

The clearest difference is monetization model: StudentHub at freemium against FocusFlight's subscription. FocusFlight's advantage is ratings volume (9.8K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusFlight sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and StudentHub sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudentHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusFlight has 9.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FocusFlight ships an update every 5 days, StudentHub every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
