# App Blocker vs RingLock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RingLock at 100% against App Blocker's 50%. RingLock also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4). App Blocker's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Blocker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and RingLock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
