# NowYouKnowMed vs NeuroStudy

The clearest difference is rating: NeuroStudy at 5.0 against NowYouKnowMed's 4.6. NowYouKnowMed's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NowYouKnowMed sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and NeuroStudy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NeuroStudy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NowYouKnowMed has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

NowYouKnowMed ships an update every 3 weeks, NeuroStudy every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
