# P5R Guide vs DeckSequence

The clearest difference is ads: DeckSequence at none against P5R Guide's shown. P5R Guide's advantage is ratings volume (248 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. P5R Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DeckSequence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for P5R Guide against 5.0 for DeckSequence. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: P5R Guide has 248 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
