# Multihulls World vs SeaPeople

The clearest difference is monetization model: SeaPeople at free with in-app purchases against Multihulls World's subscription. SeaPeople also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 56%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multihulls World sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SeaPeople sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Multihulls World against 4.9 for SeaPeople. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeaPeople has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Multihulls World's written reviews are positive against 90% of SeaPeople's.

Multihulls World ships an update every 8 months, SeaPeople every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
