# Homework helper vs Eureka

Homework helper and Eureka both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Eureka's written reviews are positive against 14% of Homework helper's. Eureka also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). Homework helper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (78 vs 13). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework helper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Eureka sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Homework helper against 4.5 for Eureka. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework helper has 78 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 14% of Homework helper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Eureka's.

Homework helper ships an update every 2 weeks, Eureka every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
