# Dolphin vs Helix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dolphin at every 5 days against Helix's fortnightly. Helix's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dolphin ships an update every 5 days, Helix fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
