# Flow AI vs TAPE

The clearest difference is rating: TAPE at 5.0 against Flow AI's 4.6. TAPE also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Flow AI's advantage is ratings volume (448 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and TAPE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TAPE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flow AI has 448 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flow AI ships an update every 2 weeks, TAPE every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
