# Lyrix vs The Dog

Lyrix and The Dog both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of The Dog's written reviews are positive against 13% of Lyrix's. The Dog also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). Lyrix's advantage is ratings volume (7.3K vs 16) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrix sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. The Dog asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Lyrix against 4.8 for The Dog. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lyrix has 7.3K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of Lyrix's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Dog's.
