# Lyrix vs Wedding Player

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wedding Player at 100% against Lyrix's 13%. Wedding Player also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Lyrix's advantage is ratings volume (7.2K vs 10) and chart position (#106 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrix sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Wedding Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wedding Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lyrix has 7.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Lyrix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wedding Player's.

Lyrix ships an update every 2 weeks, Wedding Player weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
