# 99 Jamz vs X102.3

The clearest difference is rating: 99 Jamz at 4.7 against X102.3's 4.5. 99 Jamz also leads on ratings volume (221 vs 12). X102.3's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

99 Jamz holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 99 Jamz has 221 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of 99 Jamz's written reviews are positive against 100% of X102.3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
