# Resonance vs EMF Detector

The clearest difference is rating: Resonance at 5.0 against EMF Detector's 3.9. Resonance also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). EMF Detector's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resonance sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. EMF Detector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Resonance holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMF Detector has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
