# Bookshelf vs Papyrus

The clearest difference is device support: Bookshelf at 3 against Papyrus's 1. Bookshelf also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bookshelf sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Papyrus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
