# Prepper App Pro vs Baigal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Baigal at every 9 days against Prepper App Pro's every 6 months. Baigal also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prepper App Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Baigal sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prepper App Pro ships an update every 6 months, Baigal every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
